Big Little's Festival 2010 proved, once again, to be a delightful event. Every student had an opportunity to perform, and there were so many spectacular performances from all our different classes and disciplines that it would be impossible to mention them all.

Highlights of the weekend included the first performance by our Primary and Pre-Primary ballet dancers, who aged only 3 and 4 treated the audience to a beautiful rendition of "Dingle Dangle Scarecrow".

Other fantastic junior performances included our Foundation students, who recreated an Arabian Adventure complete with some perfectly timed comedy, a fairytale princess and lots of singing and dancing.

Amongst our seniors, the Starlight boys brought the house down with a hilarious rendition of "Mamma Says", which contrasted with some beautifully tender moments from "Miss Saigon".

Our Limelight company managed to squeeze nearly everyone into a giant yellow submarine before showcasing their dance skills in a variety of beautifully choreographed numbers.

And of course, our senior youth theatre company PDP, performed another dynamic, high energy concert as 'Vision'.

The studio theatre also saw some knockout solo performances during out 'Performance Platforms' which encompassed acting pieces, poems and songs.

A packed audience gave the whole event a fantastic buzz and the hospitality area gave a real sense of community to the event, where everyone could come together to socialise and enjoy all of the entertainiment that was provided over the weekend.
