Stage 3 - LAMDA Grades 1-3
We offer classes following the graded LAMDA syllabus from entry level to Grade 8. The classes begin with a physical and vocal warm up and progress onto exercises in characterisation, improvisation and vocal technique. Selected syllabus and contrasting monologues are then rehearsed and developed until they are ready for exam entry.
Stage 3 classes enable students to work towards LAMDA examinations grades 1 - 3. The syllabus looks at characterisation in both classical and contemporary styles. Examinations are not compulsory but are recommended, and can often be taken at the Big Little Studios.
Classes are taught by Michelle Guy B.Ed ALAM, Principal of Big Little Theatre School.
As students progress through the Big Little Theatre School stages, so too do they progress through the LAMDA grades, thus developing a deeper understanding of the process of acting.
