Stage 6 - LAMDA Grade 8 & Audition Prep

We offer classes following the graded LAMDA syllabus from entry level to Grade 8. The classes begin with a physical and vocal warm up and progress onto exercises in characterisation, improvisation and vocal technique. Selected syllabus and contrasting monologues are then rehearsed and developed until they are ready for exam entry.

Stage 2 introduces the main junior syllabus from entry grade covering basic technique and characterisation in both classical and contemporary styles. The taking of examinations is not compulsory but is recommended.

As students progress through the Big Little Theatre School stages, so to do they progress through the LAMDA grades, thus developing a deeper understanding of the process of acting.
